I'd have to paint the roof white then.

Drivers wheel arch and sill need some work as they are scabby af. Rear arches should be okay for a while.

                  No update for ages.
Last year seemed good and bad for me and hank. It saw me buy him, not get him for nearly two months then set about converting. He's seen two lots of suspension (first was just rear lowering springs that didn't cut the mustard then a set of coilovers and shorter shocks) then I had the decat side exit exhaust put on, purred like an angry kitten. Then it died. Overheated and cam locked up in august. £4200 later and a recon engine, turbo, new injectors, glow plugs, clutch, etc etc and van back on the road end of November. Then the full width rnr bed was put in and I decided on putting in a sliding side window. Well that was a bad idea. Went to a window specialist and they royally bodged it. I ended up with a window sitting about 10mm proud of the rest of the van. Took it back and it was refitted only marginally better. Had a row with the owner And he threw £50 back at me saying he was done with it. Told me that I was the dort of customer who would never be happy. I took it home and realised it was leaking like the titanic so made a claim for faulty goods/poor workmanship via my credit card. Have had it inspected by a vw restorer and he thinks the abortion job is salvageable but can't do it until the 24th. Thank god for poundland puppy pads as they are doing a stellar job of not ruining the laminate flooring in the van. I also managed to repair the floppy door mirrors and also break the interior mirror.

Easy job that mate, just make sure you use loads of scotch clips and don't solder anything, Reg will love you forever lol, being serious it's an easy job [emoji16][emoji106]
