Done a nice job. Never sure how resilient the plastikote stuff is though for door cards. Kinda scared of ending up with a horrendous mess after 12 months or so.

      Cheers Burgmeister,

I done the same on my old orange van, Used plastikote and as you say after 12 months it didn't hold up to well...

only thing I done differently this time was lots of primer coats...and you can actually feel the difference, I've knocked them loads of times and so far all good.

Also got some of them chrome rings for the dials.....

Took out instrument cluster, (Full of crap) and gave them a good clean, I'm not usually a massive fan of chrome but thought these looked ok...

Ah, OK. That's interesting to know. I'm thinking about completely covering mine in some cloth material (yet to be determined) but I don't know how easy that will be. I was thinking of the coffee sacks idea but my wife and I have "artistic differences" with this suggestion.

I do like the coffee sack look,

I bought some to finish off a homemade bar I built in my mancave, still have a few left if you want them for testing purposes mate and to convince the missus...., your more than welcome....

Very kind of you chally, . Thankyou

I've also installed a new floor but kept the rear set of seats, the van originally came with 9 seats, but I've removed the middle row now.
Kept the rear set and fitted them back on longer mushroom bolts, so now have single drivers and double passengers upfront, and the same at the rear.

Also carpeted all the caravelle panels including the fibreglass rear panel which I got from Audiosport, installled a pair of 6x9s and 2 spotlights the same as in the headlining, these are switched by a seperate switch to the roof lights fitted to the rear of the tailgate.

I was running a 12" vibe sub in the rear of the van, but my next plan is to build a slide out cooker pod in the rear, so the sub had to go....

                        First of rough template......

Then built a box to fit under the rear seats, I've fitted a pair of Rockford Fosgate 8" subs in there as that's the biggest that will fit?

I'm currently running these in so not convinced on them yet, will see......

Fitted sidebars, front stone guard and used some fly-eyes to tint the front lights, so she currently looks like this

Some "arty" ones in there to make her look good....

Hopefully have some time this weekend to get some more bits done.

I actually like the chrome on the clocks, a simple but effective mod... Where did you get them from...
