  • Roof bars

Apologies if this has already been covered, I have a 2000 2.5tdi camper and I've just bought a canoe, I need roof bars, it's a single sliding door van and I'm unsure what to buy and how they fit. Any help would be great. Many thanks in advance!

Loads of options. From the clamp-on fall-off type to proper roofracks

Are you going to fit rails to the roof or just want something temporary?

It has been covered loads of times, but what sort of setup do you want - how permanent?

If I didn't have my full roofrack, I'd go for chrysler voyager rails and then add bars to that.

Having witnessed the carnage when surfboards take flight on a busy road I wont use clamp on bars - especially when there are no proper gutter rails.

I’ve just bought a new van and it came with Thule wing roof bars - I’ve no need for them, they’re in excellent condition, cost £200 new will sell for £100?

I mount a roof tent on them (spread over 3 bars) and its rock solid.
I initially bought a Grand Voyager rail and bars system for
