Another 100 miles this morning on the M5 so its case closed for the oil bleeper, as Reg said fit a quality sender.

On Saturday we went through a few floods. Nowhere near as high as the sill or door seals. At Little Hereford the usual half mile section along the bank of the Teme was under water, passable with care but not for the bloke in the Jag or the Rover 214. Slightest thing and the old BMC konk's out. Anyway the alt belt started squealing and next the dreaded oil bleep and flashing light came back AAAAGGGGHHHH! But once the belt dried out and stopped squealing our old friend the bleep has thankfully fffed off again to bother someone else. Anyone ever had this?

Yes mate , I’ve never had an engine under tray ..so when it’s raining hard the belts get soaked and squeals like a pig , 🤪

I took our tray off after our breakdown on the A42. Mainly for ease of access if anything happened again. I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue with the oil bleeper?

Wondered if we the belt slipping it might have been voltage related, that or the water got somewhere it shouldn't. The tray will go back on the weekend.
