Throttle feels normal and has full movement and return. But we'll get there.

I know this is not the four pot but does this help ? It should scale up to 60cm+ if needed.

Getting my guide and following the previous post and the section on idle setting would help - don't open the pump. You don't have to.

Where do I start? Faffed about with the lever on the side of the pump lid.Could only get on one way and I was sure there was no spring tension on it.Fuck this I says lets get the top off. No sign at all of the spring but I did have a pump full of little black bits and a nasty scar on the casing above the governor cog. Some of it felt like alloy and some of it is rubber. What now? Clean it all out obtain a spring build it up and try. Anyone got a spare spring? Its call because of that nut on the lever coming off. Click image for larger version

That needs a full rebuild - there are sacraficial cush drive rubbers in the pump that have broken up because something dropped into the drive pinion.

You'll never get the bits out properly without a full stripdown.

I could send you a spare good pump if I have one, a guide for the rebuild or do it for you - about a week door to door.

I have all the spring gubbins and rubbers in stock if you want them - free to you as you are my special friend now.
