thought it was about time i put a build thread up as i am starting to put my van back together after being off the road for about 4-6 years.
damaged my back at work and had to have a few operations so its been sitting since then. still on loads of meds so can only do i bit at a time.

bought the van for 300. about 6 years ago. prob had to do 50 hours welding on it, it was bad.
new rear quarter panels. new wings. sliding doors sill needed welding. foot steps needed welding.
floor had about 10 big holes. inner arches needed welding and the front members where gone.
rear arches have been raised about 6 in. still have to do the front but want to get it on the road first.

    specs.
    1.9d
    forged rods/pistons
head rebuilt. new guides. reground valve seats. ported
    bottom end rebuilt. new bearing/seals
    new water pump
    glow plugs
    rebuilt vacuum cylinder
    new wheel bearing
14mm fuel pump, custom camplate. custom boost actuator.
    new injector nozzles and reshimmed.
    air suspension front and back.
    m65 supercharger.

    things to do:
exhaust looking into making as custom side exit. gotta cut the side of the van out to fit.
    bottom pulley rubber gone.
couple of brake pipes need doing.
prob a few other things lol.

Fantastic, ....looking forward to more of the build and progress.

How are you driving the supercharger? Is it a Merc unit? Driven direct from the existing 1.9s pulleys albeit modified or an additional pulley & belt.
14mm pump sounds sweet but isnt it over kill I'd imagine on a 1.9's cylinder volume? That's some serious fuelling!
Who's designed the camSHAFT for the ENGINE?

What boost do you intend to run.

its a 14mm pump head with a 3mm camplate, i have had it about 8 years now but itsa only done about 200 miles, they where not known for lasting lol.
i will be changing for a 4bt pump soon.

Never even heard of a 14mm head, I know people pushing 200 hp on the 11mm head, but 14 is massive! I was running a 10mm head and that could fuel more than I could supply air
