Hey Blue Dove, Where ya got the socket for the 240v power inlet?
I was thinking of a hidden one behind the rear fog light or as I've only got one, I was going to cut the blank out the left side f bumper and put a false fog light in there, sort of even the look up of the rear bumper.

I’m not sure if this will fit by the rear fog, it gives you the dimensions though .

Thanks Fruitbat, that looks ideal, if the rain ever stops I'll see if it will fit.

Seen a few with it behind the dummy fog in the bumper left rear.

That's the idea, good to see it on a van, rather than in my head,
How do you keep it from dangling when not in use?

Just slips into the cavity behind the fog light onto of the crush material.

I’ve done mine long so water doesn’t get into the socket ..

And it simply draws back into lay beside the consumer unit..

                            Hope this helps...

Just an idea , you could fit a 7 or 13 pin tow socket if you have a towbar and use pins 9 to 13 for the 240V mains feed in on the 13pin and use the nearside fog light for an external 12V/240V feed for awning lighting / power. Just keep the external and internal rings seperated in the consumer box. Depends if you need to tow whether you fit a 7 or 13 pin.
