It’s officially 2 years since AJ came into my possession,so thought it’s about time I put a build thread together. After numerous blow outs with viewings and actually 1 van I was on my way to look to look at when the seller phoned me to say someone pressed the buy it now.Was getting a bit miffed. Then spotted him on eBay £750 starting bid, advertised with a clutch problem.based near Salisbury.I couldn’t go and view so done the cardinal sin of bidding blind.£1250 winning bid we was on our way with a suspicion through the inter web I knew what the clutch problem was.picked him up and 100 mile return trip to home without fault I could feel the love already.Especially when a pedal box bracket solved the clutch problem Click image for larger version

Very nice. A touch of luxury. That last pic looks very inviting -

Fancy posting the eBay link for others to upgrade to?
What did you bond it with?
                        Any prep required?

I just wiped clean the back panels.as the front headliner has a layer of foam I made sure there was a good layer of glue on both cloth and surface and made sure there’s plenty of overlap to start with..harder to get wrinkle free with the foam on.Trim fix contact adhesive i’ve found to be the best i’ve used. Not sure how to post a link active but here’s the item no.Click image for larger version
