I love my vogtland kit. [emoji108]
I’d say it was lower than mine & mines -50 with the blue bird shims.

Nice to hear a positive on the vogtland kit.
I'm almost ready to press the buy button on the 40mm kit from vdubtransporters.
I suspect that my current ones are slightly relaxed, Major is more sagged than lowered.

Vogtland shocks and 40mm lowering springs (feel free to shout hold on if they not as good as reckoned)leaving bottom rubber off should be about 50mm vdubs measured the 40mm springs 250mm they might not sink as much as the ones allready on I will start plus gas on torsion bars in preparation.
I put a small copper wire wheel attachment in my cordless drill and cleaned off all the threads first, then plus gased it. Wound down a treat. I heard a couple horror stories and couldn’t be arsed with that so figured it’d give me the best chance.

Top Tip going to clean the thread gently and pray.
I had enough horrors vehicle wise in the past year.
Definitely don't want to cause any myself.
            Cheers

Worked an absolute treat for me and unwound straight away. Took the weight of the wheels off the van but left a little on so it didn’t detach from the saddle mount thingy at the top. Let us know how you got on.
