            • After moving house just over a month ago and meant to be going on holiday this week which is now not happening as activities were already booked so we cancelled and the mrs said i can work on the van. Well the nig job looming was the ac delete which involves taking the d/pump mounting bracket off. Well it hold the alt & pas and air con. So with the pump coming off obviously it makes sense to change the cam belt & w/pump.
So was down dads workshop today and there is a diesel specialist next door that kindly lent a hand on a couple of occasions & advise.
The ac unit pokes straight out the bottom of the engine so i want it gone. Everything went to plan. Few photos thrown in as you can see the difference on the ac delete.

              • This week has been productive. Got coolant in the thing and had it running for an hour or so.
Today was the thottle pedal. I wanted to bolt it straight to the bulk head but with the angle from car to van wasnt going to happen. I was on mum & dads drive doing this and didnt have much to measure the amount of tilt to have so tool a single measurement. With my finger and went from there and heres what happened. Went proper chavvy and brought a dash mounted carbon fibre look pod and a oil pressure gauge. Boost gauge is in the post.

                  • I wouldn't put them in line of sight, and keep the oem oil warning.

I want to keep the oil waring light but for some reason it still keeps flashing. I dont know but on tdi models do they get the oil pressure sense through the ecu or it straight to the cluster. I still have some test to do but its on a t piece with the oem switch. I disconnected the plug and nothing comes up on the dash.

                              • Yes quite. I have been struggling with finding a decent radio station lately after finding kerrang radio & kistory and amazon music. Its the first time the radio has been on since the conversion. Im very bipolar with music.
