The floor is looking good. We still sticking to lino though We decided not to take any chances and bought a set of ramps so we can see under the van ourselves. Hope to get the rails in in the next few days.

Laminate has a tendency to soak up moisture on any exposed edges personally prefer vinyl, safety flooring or an lvt

Yeh not too fussed about that, I've got loads of it. I'll be chopping it around soon anyway when I build the kitchen unit in the rear and storage box / seat behind the cab seats.

At last after much measuring, drawing, worrying, the channels are finally cut, no turning back now. Lino to lay and holes to drill.Click image for larger version

We have a seat we need to fit using Unwin rails but only short 20" lengths so we can remove when not needed.
Lots of good advice with the spreader plates too.. bigger the better and if you can join them to the other bolts thats great also

Yeah we got spreader plates. Was begining to wish we got surface rails and not low profile but hey ho we have what we have. Hope we've given ourselves enough room and missed all the essential stuff underneath. Will put another pic up when lino down, rails in and seat attached. This has been the most stressful thing we've done in a long time. Its ok for people who can see and get under the van but no fun if you cant. Fingers crossed

Lol. I know how you feel. I could get under the van and was also very difficult / stressful as I was doing it on my own and no way of raising the van but at least I could get underneath! Get there in the end. it's a good feeling when done 👍

I hope you're right. I just want it done so we can go away while there is still some sun. We don't get much of it do we

Can't get under cause its quite low, got bars along the side and we can't get a jack under. We've drilled all the holes now and the guy at our local garage is gonna put it on his ramps and bolt it up for us.
