Yeah all sorted, somehow I’m getting .4 of a volt less, used to sit at 14.4 but now at 14 with the engine running but I’m not grumbling, battery’s probably not as healthy as it was before the fix getting charged off the panels and a charger.

All set up and a few beers in before I realised I’d forgotten to stop at a cash point on the way, feck!!!

Nice to see some old faces, you popping down for the day?

Turns out it’s not the first time the bushes have been done and whoever did it last chewed two of the screws that hold in the regulator, no end of trying was budging them in situ so off it came...

About two and a half hours in total, I’m happy with that considering.

It did throw up a couple of questions though, way back my aircon packed in. Today I found the plug on the pump has nothing plugged into it, I think I found what’s meant to be plugged in, would this affect the aircon working.

Here’s what I think should be plugged in.

Oh and this was on the ground after it’s off one of he pulley wheels, is it essential.

I think that is a weight for the pulley vibration/balancer??? Not 100% sure, but I think it's quite important to ensure the crank pulley is balanced?

I'm sure someone will confirm room.

          Def not a weight, it’s plastic [emoji848]

Hmmm...not a weight and made of plastic...now I'm really not sure.

Where's activ8 when you need him.

Does it clip on the back of the alternator, I've seen it somewhere.

No Si, it's off the crank pulley balancer.

I see, does it clip over the slots in the pulley?

I’ll try and solve the mystery next weekend when I refit it
