  • Rear speaker pods

AS my van interior is forever coming in and out I decided to have a go at mounting my speakers up high in the rear corners. I looked online and didn't like the options so thought I'd have a go at making some.......

So masked off the area. Then gorilla taped as I was worried about the epoxy soaking through.

Epoxyed the rings to the fibreglass mounts....used two temporary screws to hold whilst drying

Also cut a little section out the back so the rings sit flat

Thanks Drew, that was a well constructed "How to" I reckon.

Bit confused as to why you used the Gorilla tape on the roof though. What epoxy were you worried about?

I made some fibreglass moulds of the roofline.....so basically painted the gorilla tape with epoxy and layered fibreglass matting onto it.....thought if I only used masking tape I might f up the roof felt
