                    I need to invest in some sockets that will fit the holes in my wheels as all of mine are to big!! Trip to Halfords it is then, or if I see our local snapoff merchant I may treat myself.

                        I still pick up Snap On stuff today, at antique fairs mostly as I wont pay the retail anymore. As a rough guide they are new just over a pound a mm plus vat. Have a fair bit of 60's snap on. Also a big fan of Hazet who do a lot of the vdub and Volvo service tools. Also have loads of war time britool black "war finish" tools. When it comes to sockets and spanners i'm a bit of a train spotter.

                              I have some snap on and some Facum ones. They look like the open enders with the one corner broken off. Great on old fashion clutch cable adjustment.

                                I managed to pick up a set of 3/8 drive blue point hex sockets forĀ£20. Off eBay. 5-24mm +a couple of reducers. Bargains are there to be had.
