For ages I noticed that the throttle has felt spongy and heavy. Then the next day fine and so it continued. South Hereford garages said cable was no longer available so got what I thought was the right one at Dubs in the valley. The one on the van has a collar/plunger that moves in and out under the bellows at the bulkhead end so as this happens you get to all most half pedal travel before it moves the lever on the pump. The one I got is solid under the bellows and hasn't got the 2 pin multi plug(EGR?) on it but has the same fittings and is the same length. Anyway I fitted it this evening and its now responsive everytime. What should the adjuster collar do and what is the 2 pin plug for. This isn't a Club ABL quiz I'd just like to know.
