That would be ideal in ours, just throw in the back when we have a night away. The extra seat in the back comes out, Molly would like a RnR bed but to me it restricts the use of the van for when I want to do man/van stuff.

As if I made the pod to suit.
Only a few mm to spare.
Like this a lot. The wood choice is perfect...especially the stamp in the corner.

You may regret those water containers in time - I know I did with my first conversion, then left them out of the next one.

Hello, looking good. How did you come by the metal frames for your pods?

Those are frames made from display structures you’d see at trade shows.
Very neat cam locks to join them together.
              So solid.
And with the timber in between.
              Really robust.
              And removable.
That’s kinda why I went with the water tanks.
They were cheap. And I can whip them out anytime. If I wanted to carrying anything.
This bus needs to have a few purposes.
Safe Daily driver for ferrying 3 small kids
              Camper for same. .
Load carrying van for projects. Etc.

So to be able to rip everything out in ten mins and have a bare floor is the desire.
And these pods will enable that.

              Hope that makes sense.

Makes sense to me. Mine is all quick to remove. Use it as a van as and when I wish, camper most the time. Was back in van mode for itv yesterday.

Fitted the Alfa 156 leather seats.
Not bad for 70 euro for the pair.
Made up for buying the fasp swivel bases new.

Have a removable table top fitted in between the pods.
I think I May as well make it bigger. It’s too small as is.

That’s a bit better. A bit bigger at least.

                              Sorry missed this.

Aside from all the plumbing hassle, you now have 40+ litres of unusable storage space, regardless of whether you have water onboard or not. Plus storage space lost by having sink/urinal installed.

Any water stored for more than a day tastes plasticky and is basically undrinkable, not an issue if just using it for washing I suppose

You have to faff around filling and emptying tanks

You will spill it at some point ruining floor/cupboards if MDF and the pump tap will also break.

                              Just generally too much faff.

                                HaHa. “Sink/Urinal”. Love it.
                                Nice one.
