Doesn't matter what condition it is bud. You have a van so you're sorted!

Had some pics sent over today by body shop fella, Old scuttle panel cut off and new one spot welded into place......getting on with it now. I think he wishes he never took on this job but the effort that's going into it will hopefully show rewards

So spent some time today prepping the caravelle plastics ready for covering with megastretch.
As mine is a panel van there are a number of cut outs that aren't needed, so rather than just cover them I thought I'd fill with fibreglass....Click image for larger version

First cut out a plastic filler as a backing sheet

Then held the back in place with gaffa tape, then mixed up some P40 isopon fibre glass. Will need smoothing but hopefully once covered will look the part.

Whilst that was drying I got on with covering the A post plastics.
As the roof in the cab is going a bit out there with cow hide and the rear roof panels are a tan alcantara style decided to go for sand megastretch... .

I have the older version of that as a 3rd brake light.

As my kids dumped me today for their mates I thought I'd do the 2 plastics that I gobbed up with fibre glass, as they say, ta da!!!

As the cab handles were grey and didn't really fit with the new roof lining I was going to spray them brown or cover with cherry blossom.
As I had a bit of the fabric left over I thought, I wonder.....
