Why 240lb/ft? Well this is what a 2.5tdi makes at a stage1 at 2500rpm but it peaks there and drops off quite quickly down to 170lb/ft at 4000rpm
EDIT: he's replied and said that with a pinion brace (braces the input shaft bearing, bell housing side...this stops it making its way towards the clutch as the casing can break here at high torque applications) the gearbox should be fine as it is basically an 02a/j with a bigger diffLast edited by alPinaD; 18 December 2017, 12:21 AM.
