  • Evolution of Van..

As I move onto the next phase of my Caravelle, I thought I’d post a few pics.
Externally been through several ideas and I’m now settled, next plan is EITHER Polo Open Air roof OR Quad Hollandia spoiler sunroofs (both options involve some fab on the roof).
Now sporting full, mint Multivan seating and bed, VanX curtains, Vogtland -40mm and shocks. Vito wheels going on this week!

            Evolution of Van..

            Cheers guys
The white is a combination of rattle can (bonnet bumpers and scuttle)
            Roller (roof)
Vinyl wrap on sides and tailgate.
It was lowered very badly when I bought it hence the Vogtlands.
Red bumpers were brand new items and rattle canned. Pity my new neighbour has since scuffed the front one!
I’m thinking - still needs 5/10mm lower at the front - do you agree?
Once had it loaded with half a ton of sand.......

                Sorry but that’s no moggy!
It’s a 1949 MG YT. The only one ever sold retail in the UK, direct from the factory. The other 890 odd were exported.
It’s a labour of love, was one of my late Dad’s set of MGs, mum still has the TC.
Not used it for a while as the fuel has gummed it all up, and the crossplys are frankly a bit scary to drive on

                    It does a bit ;-)
You can see why I like T4 steels, MG ones kinda similar
