  • Operation Blind Faith, A Winter Project

With the Caddy sold and being down to just 3 Vdubs Molly had a bid on an accident damaged 2.0 litre petrol T4. My god she got it and we didn't even view it nevermind take it for a spin. Paid for and delivered from Blackburn to the shire for 1400 quid. A couple of hours on the phone and I've got the panels on their way and the right colour too. Just a rad and a few bits and bobs to get and it will have cost about two grand. Anyway here it is. Click image for larger version

She has nerves of steel. All I know of the seats is they are from an Alfa.

The undamaged bodywork looks tidy Si, what's the sliding door look like? Have you had it running?

Sliding door fine. Runs well even with the rad wrapped round the block.

Sticking with the 2 litre lump for now. Its got that bonnet air scoop I was after, so I will be stealing that when the boss isn't looking.

Time will tell Kev. Don't think we can loose really. Trimmed to a far higher standard than I could do. The opening window has glass that gets clearer the nearer to the centre, Alfa seats. I got panels the right colour on their way then it wont be a bad starting point. Petrol she wanted petrol she has. Mind the others going nowhere.
