Hi there I bought my 1998 T4 in April of this year and been through some stories already !
I’ve always wanted one so when I could eventually afford it I went for it.
It’s a white 2.5 tdi and the advert said it had run like a dream for the entirety of its 191000 miles !
Had it six days and the cam shaft snapped in two knackering the engine completely after £5500 spent 😭😭😭😭 oh and a speeding ticket the day before !
Picked myself up and got a re con engine fitted, belts pumps and a new clutch, and did my speeding awareness course !
It’s now running great and just had a pearl white/red tinge re spray with two new wings as it was starting to go.
I live in the south west and my next step is new door handles and locks as they worn and dated, does anyone have any ideas ? Also could do with new window seals xx much appreciated Ryan.
Oh not sure how to post pictures ! It is just about kitted out, r and r bed captain seats etc
