Good morning all!

Thanks for letting me join your crew

I've just bought a half built T4, it's a really solid base - has had a full sand blast and respray, the windows and seals have been replaced, the engine has had a full refurb at the engine shop, and it's rolling with new brakes and new bilstein suspension. I just have the small task of putting all the other bits back together! My background is tinkering with my Renault 5 GTT and that my Dad is an engineer so I guess grown man Meccano is in my genes. I think this place will be my best friend over the coming months so if anyone could help me identify some of these parts so that I don't have to spend hours with the Haynes manual that would be AMAZING! And rewardable with beer! All the parts are numbered on the photos so if you can just name a few then I can add them to my spreadsheet!

I'm a Novice in this broad church too, but there's some low-hanging fruit immediately visible:

Thanks for that initial burst of help! I've spent the afternoon fiddling with door handles and closures - what a ball ache when the original bolts have been left sheared off in the floor at the back!!

S49 Thanks - I didn't pick it but I love it. Trying to work out whether to take the door handles off again and colour match them with the roof, think it would look mint but the number 1 priority is getting it on the road!!

Hi and welcome. I must admit I can identify the majority of the bits but it’ll be a mammoth task to try and type it all out as a list using the app. I’d need to log onto the laptop and dona spreadsheet I recon. If they’re all for this then I’m guessing it’s a 2.5tdi 102?
