  • North Northumberland T4 1995 / hello

I have a 1995 2.4D ebay special in nato green and ratty. Coffee sack inside, AT tyres,
Panels arrived last week - wings, front and rear arches, sills.

The missus even said if I can sort out the gears then she would be happy to keep it.

Just signed up - mainly looking for pics of the inside once the outside has been chopped away... some useful stuff seen already and have some extra sheet on standby "just in case".

                Welcome Mike

Fit a headlight upgrade and you could be blinded by the lights

Fit a turbo on the 2.4 and then the weak become heroes

Enjoy the van, hope to see you out on the streets.

Have a look on our Blindfaith a Winter Project build thread it shows us doing the front sill.

I have had a proper read of that thread - well cool. I’ve had the bus 6 years so figured that now the filler has dropped out of the arches it was time to do a proper job - both front wings, arches, sills and rear arches. Windscreen scuttle fills me with dread for now so leaving that...

Done both are windscreen surrounds and found no holes in either. I think Uncletravellingmatt put a lower screen panel in his but often they aren't as bad as you think once the screen is out. Allow for a new glass as they wont come out in one part unless they were fitted poorly in the first place,

Mines pretty crusty just under the seal. Borrowed a mates gasless welder and fired it up this afternoon - its quite splattery and will take a little practice. Only set fire to the garage carpet once... I'll start a thread properly to keep myself motivated :O)
