You don't have an exploding picture of the folding double front perchance Rob. I'm a pain I know.

What exactly do you need Si?
The diagrams are broken up into seat belt, backrest and base.

Just wanted to check I have it all, but after loading it in the van at work it looks like its all there and even I can work out how it all goes back together thanks Rob.

Your skill set was never in question Si, as it was seat related you've had your fair share of hard core T4 seat erotica.

Not strictly a doka question. With the dash out I can see the immobilizer box, the transponder that would be around the ignition lock if they hadn't stripped it into a million bits. Am planning on using the steering column off the 03 plate scrapper. So can I just swap the immobilizer box off the scrapper and be away as it will have the right key to talk to?

And thinking further down the line could this then be wired to tell the ECU for the 1.8t it was ok to start?

I would have thought that if you swapped the immobiliser box and the transponder ring for the set from the scrapper you'd be good to go as they're a matched pair. Dont know regards the 1.8t though si

                        it's a T4 thing

Thats what I thought Rod, mind I could run an ignition feed to the pump stop valve then if I get any keys cut I don't need to get em coded. Thats what someone did with S49 before we got it.

As the scrapper was an ECU'd ACV 2.5TDi might the immo box be different to a '96 2.4d?

"At a glance" the box and plug looks the same. One wire will get by it. Just got me thinking.

The rear seat base is a little scruffy, its basically a big plastic lump. I have a couple a cans of Hycote black bumper paint we didn't use on the blue one as Mol went for colour codes instead. Whats best to prime the base with?
