  • Drive shaft bolt torque setting

    Hi can anyone tell me the torque setting for the main drive shaft bolt that goes in to the end of the shaft ? I have bought 2 x stretch bolts 27mm 6 sided just need to know how tight

      According to the Brooklands Manual it's 108 lbft + 90 degrees

        Hi Sputnik that is interesting Haynes say 110 lbft + 90 degrees so its close

            Yes the difference in manuals is odd, where did they pull that figure from? But then my torque wrench hasn't been calibrated for a long time and I don't possess an angle gauge either so it's all done by eye anyway, plus I need my eyes testing so the missus tells me
