    • Scratching my head over the dash build up i have the cold start "choke" lever, grown ups will know what a choke is. But no sign of anything to connect it to on the injection pump. The pump has tamper proof wire soldered to the idle and fuel screw adjusters, never seen that before so perhaps the pump has been rebuilt. Anyone have a spare blanking plug for the choke on the dash. I know that the posh later TDI's have such a thing.

Got to cold galv the floor then it'll have a coat of grey. I spect it'll all get shultzed later. • Cheers i have another with a bust mesh. I think i've said before i'm too quick with the welder. I noticed after the mesh is "spot welded" in. With a bit of thought i could have undone them with the soldering iron and swapped the mesh, Oh well its logged for next time.

                            • The wife brush painted the doors, so i have the job of wet sanding them. Its getting there, not fantastic but i wasent going to pay some clown to park it in their bodyshop for 18 months while coming up with ever more outlandish reasons why it wasent ready when promised as time went by.
