Not sure if I have the wrong end of the stick regarding what a push down shifter is but my acv you have to push down for reverse. Hope this helps

Mine's an ACV but I get straight into reverse without having to push down? Maybe it's a year thing? Mine's a 99.

I'd say those cut wires are factory, wouldnt be in that loom otherwise, they'd be taped outside it if added later or retro alarm. Boy i hate alarms.

The orange/black and orange/grey are immobiliser wires. I’ll take a better look tomorrow when I do Tdi stuff.

Most of the cabling and plugs are one offs so they only match one space on the fuse box. You could do it blind folded.

Today, I've been helping TP by mapping his vans' new "pheonix" drive , under pressure from the forums' lobby group he's retired the 18rh Century notions of power and performance and jettisoned the 'm'.

T4 2.5TDI ACV ECU 074906018AL ready willing and sort of able. Here's the starting point. 109bhp / 277Nm according to my software.

Fuck off. I’ve got kids and dogs so keep running inside to spend 15 mins acid dipping black hands and scrubbing down got old so I started wearing gloves a few months ago.
