                • I see Bradleigh2 has an ABL exhaust manifold for sale, not sure if it includes the turbo. Think the ABL is derived from the petrol or vice versa, so the big question is could the 2.0 petrol be turbo'd using the ABL fannymold?

The 2.0 petrol is really low comp so would take boost well. Back in the day the golf boys used them to build 2.0 g60s. No idea if the abl manifold fits, be good to find out.

The problem with homebrew boost is the cost of management/mapping, although you could go with a rising rate fpr and low boost, never tried it but it might work!

Easiest, cheapest and most reliable option is a early longitudinal 1.8t from a passat/a4/a6, which would bolt in using the 2.0 sump, mounts and oil pickup.

                    • Cheers, I have a spare head to dick about with for trial and error but thinking about it the petrol inlet manifold takes up space where the turbo sits on the ABL so could be a none starter. But the Passat has me thinking.Mind if molly is happy with how it goes I wont to allowed to play anyway.

                              • Looking good Si.

Are you taking it to the Dubfellas meet on Saturday?

And why do you take the top bolt out? I took the bottom one out to do my shocks...was i wrong?

Did the steering wheel fit ok? Staging swap I'm guessing?

                                Frenchy.
