They have a spring loaded damper in them which can play up, i got a cable from the autojumble at Vdubs in the Valley , a plain cable with no damper not sure what it was off. Early 1.9 non turbo?

I've brought some banded steels to put on there red atm getting a white band around them before fitting them on
