It's a credit to you Nozzle, it really is. Classy example of the breed.

I'll have a measure tomorrow mate. I'll be fitting my alloy wheels as soon as I get round to painting them (hopefully next week!) They should fill the gaps

Had new shocks and springs fitted this week and she's like a new van. New rear tyres, pads, discs, cambelt, waterpump etc. All done by TH Performance in Havant. Got a discount too as these guys are forum friendly.
Alloy wheels are about to get painted and then they're going on.

New battery for my 1.9td from Eurocarparts was just under £60. I know its their own brand a Lion, time will tell if it lasts. £145 seems a bit steep! I am gutted for you though.

Thanks guys. On the up side, the headlights are now brighter, the electric windows work quicker and the stereo is louder!

At least you’ve sorted it and it wasn’t broken in. But £145 is a bit of a hit for all of us. Good your up and running mate

I had a call from a workmate last night advising me my alarm was going off (van was in works yard), he'd tried all the doors and they were all shut and no signs of anything untoward. I couldn't get back quickly as busy at work but when I did, the alarm had obviously drained the battery. The lights were barely flashing and obviously wouldn't start. I tried jumping from a works van with a hundred years old set of jumpleads found in a container, nothing. AA summoned via their app on my phone and 45 mins later, new battery fitted. The old one was kaput! There were no obvious signs it was on it's way out but Mr AA reckons that was what set the alarm off. £145 for a new one that he had on board and fitted for me. I know I could have shopped around for a cheaper one but for him to sort it there and then (midnight and -4 degC), it was a no brainer
