As the summer was approaching i wanted to make sure that the van was running right,it had a bit of a "clacking" sort of noise on tick over, which mechanically was fine it just irritated me.
I had been hearing a lot on Facebook about a guy who was doing fuel pump timing and generally making peoples vans go from sluggish to the best they've ever ran.His name is Steve VW Emms - a lot of people will have heard of him, well up in this part of the country not so much. Anyway i got in touch with him and at the time the nearest he would be travelling to me was Sheffield, about 1 1/2 hrs drive.
I arranged to meet him there while he was doing another van. I have to say i was only there an hour but he did sort it out.
Spot on,great guy and a job that everyone should have done.
