Whilst at the garage getting a reconditioned engine fitted i laughed and joked with my friends about the van and how it should look the "A" team van. I laughed along and as a passing remark said that i didn't really care what it looked like along as it was up and running.
A couple of days later i got some pictures sent to my phone from my friend at the garage -



they decided when they were working late one night to give it a quick makeover and then to take quick pic to celebrate !!!

Once i had got the van back i couldn't wait to do more so like any newbie i joined everything transporter related,i read build threads and then decided what i had to do next -
sound deadening and some ply flooring.



I had joined the local transporter group for my area HULL TR4NSPORTER5 and met some really interesting people,one of these was a bit of a fanatic ( he owns 6 T4's and a T5) anyway he is also a window fitter by trade so the obvious thing to do was to ask him to fit some for me - £390 supplied and fitted and i was a happy bunny. A trip to Dalby forest because i love the place and one to Ikea to check out cupboards
