Get it plugged in... Fault codes should give you an idea.
Have you tried unplugging the MAF sensor and briefly trying it?

Mine was similar to this, it turned out to be MAF sensor, as above if you just unplug it and go for a drive and it's a bit better you'll know weather you can eliminate that, no signal from it and the ecu puts it at a default I think, no signal is better than a bad signal. It's here on the ACV not sure on yours. Sorry if that's teaching you to suck eggs [emoji23][emoji1303]

Mine did that with a duff maf.

When I bought the van it was unplugged, plugged back in it was even worse, new genuine maf and it was a whole lot better again.

Once I got the new one in it was unbelievable the difference I just drove and drove with a big grin on my face, even managed a few overtakes only turned back because the fuel buzzer sounded.

I've got a Renault Megane Convertible, with the DCI engine in it (I know, don't judge me - I bought it for literally pence of a mate).

It would cut power, just like lifting off the throttle, then suddenly back to life again... Do it at traffic lights, going up steep hills, really annoying.

We were on our way from Devon up to Liverpool one weekend, it got to the point it didn't have enough power to get up the slip road at jnc 25 - we were stuffed - committed to the motorway, and going nowhere. I popped the bonnet, unplugged the MAF and off we went. Full power, no hesitation, and I swear we had more power and definitely better fuel consumption the whole 500+ mile round trip.

In fact it's still unplugged now, although it died for other reasons and I haven't got around to fixing it yet... 😁😁😁😉
