Afternoon all, hope everyone's making the most of the bank holiday.
I thought its best I said hello since I've spent most of my working day trawling the site.
To the bus, she's a White 97 800 td with 198k (pics to follow when I'm not at work) pretty standard van with some cladding and carpet in the back.
bodyworks needs some tlc around all arches where someone's had nasty rubber push on rust collectors.
since buying her in June we've found out she's running an aaz engine (I think that's the code) either way 1.9 td golf engine,
so first jobs have been fit abl sump and oil pump/pick up, full service,
Replace spill lines and alternator that failed because of the fuel leak (I think).
vogtland 40mm springs and shocks, drop links and upper ball joints
Two semi successful weekends away, even with a 2year old that wouldn't leave the van no matter what the bribe.
As for now she's looking a little sorry for herself after popping out the driveshaft while changing the lower ball joints.
hopefully this week I'll find 5mins to get the shaft back in and on to the next job.
