New to the t4 forum

Evening all,

After a few years away from the vw scene I'm now returning but looking for a t4 to do it with..

Any suggestions on what I should look for ?
Reliability
Engine
Long wheelbase or short wheel base

I have a decent budget but would prefer to stay around the 5-7k mark.

Welcome along Rick,

Engine wise, I previously had a 2.4D, SWB, was sound but wouldn't pull a skin of a rice pudding....

Now have a 2.5TDI (102bhp) LWB, the difference engine wise is obviously night and day, and while the extra length (Oo Err) was a bonus, its not essential for me. However the Engine was and would never go back to 2.4D.


As Mr Nozzle said loads of info on here...Make sure you stick some piccys up of your new bus once you get it and best of luck with your search....

I am currently looking at a 50th anniversary edition with 208,000 on the clock a very good history. It's a 1.9td and very clean too.
