Well battling against an impending shire sunset I've got the TDI brakes on the old bus. [ATTACH=CONFIG]11778[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]11779[/ATTACH] In 1987 the year I got the last of me City and Guilds I could have explained the benefits of vented disc's..........sadly it escapes me now.

Looks good, was it a difficult job at all to paint the calipers? I want to do mine... Currently have one bright red one and the rest just rusty [emoji23]

The vents help to dissipate the heat build up in the disc , less prone to warping like a solid disc but they do still warp , down side is they
can shatter if the disc gets too worn .

Whether it stops any better time will tell. Does anybody know if there are any differences on the rears, apart from early ones having drums? Apart from that its just the seats and tow bar left on the scrapper.Dropping a car there Saturday so we may have a wheeler deal yet.

1999-2004 rears are 280x12 solid. The AXG/AHY & V6 got 294x13.5 but others builds may of got them brake code PR-2E3.
