    Retro Fit

Has anyone retro fitted an early righthand bonnet hinge on a later van to save having a bonnet stay? Picked one up this week but don't know weather to store it or use it. Am a bit nervous of cutting the current hinge off incase it doesn't fit.

Nope I haven't but interested in the solution Si. Do you need to cut it off? Could you fit a bracket instead? Pics please?

The original will have to be cut off unless I could remove the hinge pin from both then rerivet with bonnet stay part added.
