Here goes.
Once the rain had stopped I got out and took the old (new) springs and old shocks out. Fitted the new ones with the adjuster set for the suspension to be at its max height and wasn't happy with the arch gap, so off again and set the adjuster to minimum height. Still not happy. Removed adjuster and I'm happier with the result and there's still a little room for it to settle.
Only had time for a quick spin around the block but seems to handle well, no real wallowing or crashing and banging.

Will be replacing the front shocks this weekend and lowering a bit more as it's like a monster truck at the front now.

Haven't posted in a while (thought I had but must have forgotten) well the shorter shocks were fitted and the torsion bar wound down to 30mm left on the thread. Managed to pop the drivers side out of the cradle and had to wind the stud all the way down to be able to push the torsion bar back up enough to fit it back in the cradle. A few test drives revealed that the front tyres were scrubbing the arches. I had a 30mm gap between the tyre and arch and also a 30mm gap between the bottom arm and top mount plate (as I'd taken the bump stop out) I figured that if I cut the bump stop down to 20mm and reinstalled it that I would get 10mm of travel and the arches and tyres wouldn't meet. A week on and all is good.

A lot has happened since my last update. In August My engine went... Well pop. The cam siezed and after much debating and throwing about of ideas I went for a recon engine, new turbo, injectors, plugs, clutch etc etc. Got the van back end of November, super happy with it. Fitted a full width rnr and a side window on the drivers side (the window is another debacle I'm not prepared to go into right now). Fitted wind deflectors, removed the wheel adapters (running variable pcd bolts instead) cleaned up the bumpers and coated them with truck bed liner and fitted some of Mr Sausages top mounts. Front is wound down about as much as I'm prepared for now. Back needs dropping a touch as there's too much rake. Had a go at prettying up the drivers arch and that has ended in me having to have the sill and arch cut out and new metal put in this week. Money I could have done without having to spend out just before mot and insurance renewal.
