      Hi guys,

I've not had much time this last year to do anything on Lulu, as my quad headlight project is taking up all my time, but as I was waiting for some stock to arrive I had a couple of free days on my hands. So I decided I would go ahead and do a job I planned many years ago. I don't do bonnet bras as they damage the paintwork, and I'm not too sure about my final design, so spray painting was also out of the question ................. I know I could of used PlastiDip, and I probably will next time, but as I got the decals rather cheaply I thought I would try that first. I now have total respect for the guys that do this sort of work for a living! So difficult to get right, getting everything aligned properly and bubble free is no mean feat!

Turned out OK though .............. not a single air bubble! quite pleased with that. I've always thought that my white van was too white, if you know what I mean. As I've always liked the look of the Mustangs bonnet, looks great on a long bonnet like a Mustang, but would it work on a short stubby nose T4? I also took the opportunity of painting my bellypan with red Hammerite >>

Also, while I was there, I did a test of the Hella Performance range of the quad headlights >>

              Thanks Mr Nozzle
Yeah, shouldn't be long now for the quad headlights. I'll try and get a few sets out just before Christmas.

Shame all my other photos have disappeared!? Not much good as a build thread if no one gets to see anything! I had hot linked the images from 'the other site' ............. and somehow the links got changed. I was having problems uploading images to my album here, so at the time it seemed to be a good idea!

Looks like I'll have to re-upload all the images here .............. good thing all my forum photos are backed-up.

I don't normally like stripes but those look great, stopping short of the end of the bonnet really works well

I'm not a go faster stripes type of guy either Reg, and I think they're way too over done now. I've always liked the Mustang' bonnet decals, but do they work on a small bonnet?
Looks OK, and I think that something is far better than just a plain white bonnet >>

Having seen those other images I uploaded, they don't look right from the front, they just look like two black squares stuck to the bonnet! When you're actually standing next to the van you can see that the fronts curve with the natural curve of the bonnet as well >>
