Sorry about the not so ideal photos, I'm working away and these are just ones I have from way back, I'd have taken better suited ones if I was near the van.

That's some nice work. I do like all these 15 grand refurbs that we see here and in the magazines, I honestly do....but,...innovation appears first when cash is thin on the ground.
I build my temporary layout from old packaging.

And thanks for saving me from the coffee sacks, both of you. Hadn't thought of itchyness.
and where did you get the hot chick? need one of those for the van.

I saw your thread, nice build!

I'd like to cover the sun visors in the sacking but might have to get the outlaw or someone to do that on a machine.

As for the hot chick I thought they came as standard, delivery just after you get your first T4 [emoji23] the volume sticks on this one occasionally mind [emoji23]

Love the look of your van ricrhys.

Where do you get the coffee sacks from?

Does anyone know whether you can still get the nice wooden wine boxes? Always liked the look of them as well.

Cheers! My friend imported tons of coffee from South America so I managed to blag a load, as for the wooden wine boxes, you can get them but they have become really fashionable of late so cost a fair bit for genuine ones, loads ok fakes out there, tend to look a bit naff mind.

                    Thanks daftdub and ricrhys

20 years ago the in-laws used to own a posh hotel and they used to break up the nice wine boxes for fire kindling!

                        Hey Jon,
Where is your shop based. I like the look of that flooring and wouldn't mind seeing it.

So a rare day with the van happened today, I've been working away so much that when I get back disappearing to the cave for a whole day is frowned upon.

                            Things I've learnt today:

                            1. A roll of flashband goes nowhere near as far as you think it will.

                            2. The foil tape you get with the foil bubble wrap? It's soul purpose in life is to be a dick, it'll twist and stick to everything.

                            3. If you leave a tin of hamerite on your work bench with its lid off you'll have less hamerite than if you'd put the lid on before knocking it off.

[emoji23] that foil tape is a pain in the arse.

This may cause controversy but I went for standard polystyrene sheets because they are cheep like the budgie, and mainly because I've never been really cold in the van, when I brought it I was told it was fully insulated. I pretty much lived in it for over a year and was fine all year round, then started stripping it out only to find it had none whatsoever!
As expected though the contact adhesive did react with the polystyrene sheet but only where it landed heavy, it stuck fine.
