My girl has been at the mechanics for weeks now so i called in today and said hello. I've been suffering T4 withdrawal symptoms!

Throw out bearing on the clutch went when i was out one day, i coaxed her to the nearest mechanics that i knew.
I think they are also the busiest in Australia with the amount going on in such a small shed.

Your lucky you were able to get her to a garage. Last time a clutch went on me I was on the off slip road of a motorway in a series 3 landrover ended up on a trailer!!!

I wouldn't say lucky!! I would say over stimulated (always something you can't live without!!)

Is there a "scene" (I don't really like that word mind) out there to speak of, VW festivals and the like?

with regards to the withdrawals, yeah I feel your pain I work away from Monday to Friday every week so the Van sits at home, the thing I miss the most is the time to just potter and get the little jobs done of an evening, oh and driving it onto the paddock of an evening to spin the seats round, sup a cold one and watch the world go by.

Not alot that i know here in Tassie! There is a VW day at a local berrie patch but im yet to attend. Usually falls on our cricket grand final day.
