I used these clips to hold panels in place so I drilled holes in ply to correspond with the holes in the van and put all clips in before carpet lining

as you can see did the wheel arches and any bare metal work this makes a real difference and eliminates panel vibration
I then moved on to insulation I chose a closed cell 7mm foam with a self adhesive back

once I had put the insulation everywhere I could fit my hands inside doors, lined all the roof and every panel possible I put all the ply panels back in place

these had to be dead parallel running length of the van other wise the bed would not slide smoothly I used the fitting kit that came with the rails and glued using sikaflex

once rails were in I could start doing the flooring I had to bring the ply up to level with the rails this was 24mm so I used 12mm ply to baten out floor first then scribed in my ply floor

Very good work, you are certainly getting on with it. Keep the pictures coming and good luck with our endeavour.

The sliding bed is really smart. Great idea and mean you have been able to use the standard seat belt mounts. How much did the bed set you back with the tracks? I'm guessing it's designed for a t4?

I think the rails were 200 then I paid 400 for the bed. the bed is very comfortable to sleep on only down side is that because my t4 was panel van the rear seat belt mounts are not sufficiently reinforced so can only have the kids in the seat in the forward position

That's a bargain mate. The mounts look the same in my van.
