Ok so I have already installed a stainless POWERFLOW exhaust system from the cat back.
It's got some grunt, but needs a little more
The van is a 2.5l petrol (V5) which I'm led to believe is an Audi 100 engine.
Down or up sides depends on how you look at it, it's only 4 speed auto. I've had a variety of comments, auto box ...oooh, change it and 'oh did you know the gearbox is out of a car, not much good for a van.
As it is it's working fine, I don't do any shed dragging, the most it'll do is pull my little erde trailer
So for the tinkerer's...
I want a little more ooomph! , acceleration, top end etc ( that's what she said ),
Have considered the following:
I gotta be able to do it on my driveway and it's gotta be on a Sunday
Decat, and change for stainless pipe
Remove current airbox and source an alternative way to suck in air. Induction kit maybe
Drop some slick 50 in (maybe not )
Or just leave it the hell alone?
